SAN LUIS OBISPO — Cal Poly will host a Nov. 15 workshop to gather public comments for the master plan that will guide campus development over the next 20 years. The meeting will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Ludwick Community Center Assembly Room, 864 Santa Rosa St., in San Luis Obispo.
The university is beginning a two-year process to update the plan that will determine physical needs and guide future development of the lands, circulation systems and facilities necessary to support the university’s Learn by Doing mission.
Feedback from the workshop, and additional public forums to be held next year, will help ensure decisions the university makes related to the planning blueprint are informed and reflect a variety of important perspectives.
In addition to public workshops, the university has formed six community and campus advisory groups. These committees, made up of a cross section of campus and community representatives, will provide thoughts, ideas and input related to policy direction.
